Nero Productions was formed in the summer of 2008 from an on-line adver
t inviting artists to work with us on a short film for YouTube. Max Savelev and Gari Sullivan are two artists with the desire to use the creative arts to raise awareness and interest in the social and political concerns that affect us all, but to do so in a manner that is first and foremost entertaining.
Our belief is that people want to have their voice heard, but are deliberately kept in the dark by the media and politicians, so don’t always feel they have the information to speak out.
We work with creative people from a variety of art forms, including multi-media and live performance. Nero will give a platform to those artists.
We want to encourage professional and would-be artists to use their creativity to inform as well as entertain. Historically, it has always been the duty of artists to express the concerns of the people and keeps an eye on those who chose to govern us; let’s continue that duty.
